Application Information

General Information:
All application packets are available at the District Office Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
 
Job Openings:
All current job openings are posted on the Edjoin website.
 
Application Procedures:
Applications for all positions will be accepted Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
All applications are screened for minimum qualifications after the closing date. Incomplete applications will not be accepted. All applicants will be notified by mail regarding the status of their application. 
 
To be considered for open positions, the following documents must be submitted:
 
Certificated Positions:
Completed Certificated Application
Cover Letter
Resume
3 Letters of Reference
Copy of Credential
Copy of EL Authorization
Official Transcripts (unofficial initially permissible)
NCLB Compliant Certification (if applicable)
 
Salary placement:
Placement on the salary schedule will be determined by the employee’s verified teaching experience and education with a maximum of 8 years experience.
 
Substitute Teaching:
Completed Substitute Application
Copy of Emergency Permit or Credential
Copy of TB certificate (less then 4 years old)
 
Classified Positions:
Completed Classified Application
Resume
Cover Letter
3 Letters of Reference
NCLB Compliant Certification (if applicable)
 
Internal Openings:
Internal openings are only open to current OUHSD permanent & substitute employees
