To improve student safety and accountability, OUHSD Transportation will implement an electronic bus pass system at the beginning of the 2017-2018 school year. Zpass is an RFID card that electronically tracks students as they get on and off the bus. Students riding the bus must have a Z-pass card to board the bus AND must scan it and show it to the driver EVERY TIME THEY BOARD. Please Note: The first card is Free, replacement cards are $10. To request a Z-pass card for your student, print out the High School (or Elementary) Permission to Ride form below, enter your name address and phone number and bring it in to the Transportation office at 2139 Washington Ave as soon as possible.
You can pick up a card at 2139 Washington Avenue in Oroville two weeks after you turn in the signed form. You may also come to the office and fill out a paper copy; however, you may have a long wait and may have to return to pick up the pass. The pass will use last years student photo unless the student is new to the district. Transportation Office hours 6am-4pm.

This picture shows Reo Speed Wagon #1 and #2 sitting in front of Oroville High School. Wagon #1 was purchased in 1920 -- Oroville High School purchased the chassis and the Associated Student Body purchased the body. Wagon #2 was purchased a few years later. Both wagons had to be cranked and sometimes took 1 to 1 1/2 hours start.
